2 APPLICATION OF THESE TERMS
2.1 Subject to any variation under clause 2.2 these terms and conditions (“Terms”) are in addition to the
Terms of Website Use and our
Privacy Policy and shall apply each time you use our Services, to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.
2.2 References to “you” or “your” are references to the candidate who uses our services as outlined in these Terms.
2.3 We may vary these Terms from time to time, and you are advised to check our site regularly and each time you use our Services for variations to these Terms.
3 OUR SERVICES
3.1 You may use our site to view job vacancies and to apply for those vacancies you are interested in.
3.2 Applications can be made by you submitting your CV to the employer via our site once you have registered.
3.3 To register with our site you will need to use a username and password. You are solely responsible for the user name and password which it is your responsibility to keep confidential.
3.4 If you choose to submit your CV to a relevant employer, any contact between you and them shall be the responsibility of the employer in the first instance. We shall have no responsibility for submitting your CV, nor do we guarantee there will be any contact between you and the employer as a result of you submitting your CV.
3.5 We will permit recruitment consultancies to advertise vacancies which they are handling on our site. If you choose to submit your CV to such consultancies, any contact between you and them shall be the responsibility of the relevant consultancy in the first instance. We shall have no responsibility for submitting your CV, nor do we guarantee there will be any contact between you and the consultancy as a result of you submitting your CV.
4 CONSENT
4.1 You consent to us adding your CV to our database so that we may contact you if we become aware of vacancies that we think may be of interest to you that may or may not exist on our site.
4.2 You further consent to us sharing your CV with employers we think may be of interest to you. Before we do this we will contact you.
4.3 We will not share your details with recruitment consultants at all. We will not share your details with any other third party save as provided in this clause 4.
4.4 You permit us to make use of your data or to permit selected third parties to use your data to provide you with information about services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you subject to your right to opt out of receiving such communications and otherwise in accordance with the terms of our
Privacy Policy.
5 AKNOWLEDGEMENTS
5.1 You acknowledge that a decision to forward your CV to an employer after viewing a potential vacancy on our site is a matter for your discretion and that the manner of submission is under your control and at your risk.
5.2 You acknowledge that if you forward your CV to employer(s) this does not constitute a finding by us that you are suitable for the vacancy as we do not screen your CV for such purpose.
5.3 You acknowledge that there is no guarantee that you will be selected for any vacancy for which you apply or that you will be selected for interview.
5.4 You acknowledge that any communication in relation to the vacancy will be a matter for the employer to initiate directly with you after receipt of your CV.
5.5 You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the content of any adverts submitted by employers and that we cannot guarantee the accuracy and validity of them. Responsibility for that rests solely with the employer.
5.6 You shall not carry out any activity or be engaged in any conduct which is offensive or illegal or detrimental to our interests or is likely to bring us into disrepute and you will indemnify us against any losses, damages or expenses incurred by us as a result of any such offensive, illegal or detrimental conduct or activity.
6 GENERAL
6.1 Nothing in these Terms is intended to, or shall be deemed to, establish any partnership or joint venture between you and us, constitute you or us as the agent of the other, nor authorise you or us to make or enter into any commitments on behalf of the other except for your authorisation of us to submit your CV to an employer in accordance with clause 4.2 of these Terms
6.2 These Terms are governed by English law.
