Actuary (Part of fully qualified)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Actuary to join our client based in the Midlands. Joining on an initial 3 month contract, you will join an experienced Actuarial team and support a variety of work which will include Solvency 2 and Retail Distribution.

Role: Actuary (Part of fully qualified)
Location: Midlands
Salary: Negotiable (Dependant on Experience) Initial 3 month contract.

As an Actuary your duties will include:

*Set up a system and documented process to set premium rates for a range of basic non-reviewable rate protection products such as: Level Term; Mortgage Term; and Critical Illness.
*Use existing Prophet models to carry out a pricing exercise to produce a set of rates.
*Amend Prophet models to reflect taxation changes, gender directive rules and sales remuneration changes.
*Run models and produce a set of premium rates.
*Produce a TAS compliant pricing report for discussion with the wider business
*Amend where necessary and produce a final set of premium rates and report

The successful candidate will be either part qualified or a qualified actuary who can boast impressive experience within the life assurance sector. Our client are expecting the successful candidate to be able to hit the ground running and therefore must have experience of:

*Product pricing life assurance products
*Using Prophet or Moses
*Using Spreadsheets effectively
*Protection Product Pricing
