Assistant Development Engineer required by a market leading supplier and system integrator of tablet computing solutions specialising in the gaming and retail markets worldwide based in Evesham.
Recent developments in their target markets mean that they are poised on the brink of expansion opportunities and need a dedicated team player to augment there Development Department
You will report to the Development Director and assist him in all aspects of his tasks - including but by no means limited to:-
* Developing new supply / vendor relationships.
* Managing product evaluation
* Managing supplier product and commercial relationships
* Pre sales development of client solutions
* Creation and ownership of product specifications and documentation as required to support the companies requirements.
* Managing and development of new and current company product portfolio
* Design & development work
* Product user & specification documentation
* Managing the brand Identity
This vacancy would suit a competent engineer with an entrepreneurial streak and experience of managing development cycles - including production of comprehensive documentation.
You should be a good communicator with the ability to work as part of a team to achieve a common aim - often dealing with UK & overseas manufacturing partners to tight timescales.
Candidate will be educated to degree level in a mechanical or electronic discipline.
