A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a focused and driven Bench Account Executive to join a leading logistics company based in Northampton and Gloucester/Worcester.

Role: Bench Account Executive
Location: Northampton and Gloucester/Worcester
Salary: £24,000 - 28,000

As a Bench Account Executive, you will be responsible for the entire sales process from intelligence gathering and prospecting to negotiating, securing and managing new and existing accounts. Furthermore, your role will include:

*To manage existing and new business within the total team territory
*Support the team in achieving a target of c£3,500 new business per month per territory, through generating new business or expanding existing customers.
*Maximise opportunities from existing customers in addition to identifying prospective customers.
*Facilitate the sales process by using questions to obtain information about the customer's business situation/goals
*Guide and co-ordinate the activities of others to meet customer needs and enhance customer satisfaction
Ensure that appropriate trading/volume levels are maintained in line with the discount agreed/contract compliance

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree or professional level and be able to demonstrate successful experience within a similar role. You will ideally possess strong knowledge of the logistics industry, alongside experience of team management, organisation and the Sales process. You will be required to have previous field sales experience selling a service as opposed to a product, Therefore, you will be consultative in your approach, with a natural ability to overcome objections and identify new sales opportunities.

Candidates are required to possess a clean UK driving licence
