A school in Birmingham are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant with a BSL Level 3 qualification. This role is to start in February 2012 and may potentially run until the end of the academic year.

A specialist SEN school in Birmingham are looking to hire a Teaching Assistant to work with small classes of students who have a variety of special educational issues. You must have experience of working in a similar setting. The classes are challenging, so you must be prepared to have a significant contribution to the learning. A manual handling qualification would be a distinct advantage.

The age of students will be from 3-18 years of age. You will be expected to have experience of working with a student who has MLD, PMLD and Aspergers Spectrum. This school can offer supply staff the same support and training that they can afford to all their staff. The school expect the successful candidate to start in February 2012.
REQUIREMENTS


The successful candidates will be confident and have a positive approach, as well as having relevant qualifications, the right to work in the UK, 2 professional references from within the last 2 years and a valid CRB.
