Business Analyst

A Business Analyst is required, ideally with current DV clearance for an initial 6 month contract in London. The role will report to the Business Architect and will require close interaction with the business community in shaping the development of this project. The Business Analyst will be required to have detailed knowledge of the Police Intelligence working practises.
* Skilled in the use of business analysis and modelling tools and techniques; e.g. UML, Use Cases, Visio and other business analysis/ modelling tools;
* Skilled in formal business requirements capture, development and management, including the ability to plan and manage workshops;
* The ability to produce comprehensive business/ user requirements documentation;
* The ability to manage prioritisation of user/ business requirements and attain senior user sign-off;
* The ability to develop and document business cases and other products as required by the project to a consistently high standard and to tight timescales;
* The ability to deliver products to a consistently high standard and to tight timescales;
* The ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information up to SECRET and higher;
* Effective written, oral and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels;
* An understanding of the principles and strategies required to ensure the optimal use of IT in improving business performance;
* Proven track record of working with various stakeholders within a large organisation including managing expectations and dealing with conflicting requirements and priorities;
* Proven track record of liaising with third parties, particularly Government departments, System Integrators and service providers
* Current Developed Vetting (DV) Security clearance
