Business Analyst/ Senior Tester

We have a 12 month fixed term contract paying between £50-55K per annum plus standard benefits for a Business Analyst/ Test Analyst to be based in West London

Location: West London
Special skills: System testing experience, bug tracking, defect triage and producing testing reports

The BA role is a hybrid of testing and more traditional requirements definition and management. The BA will work closely with the existing Programme Manager, operational users and third parties to deliver the new system into live operation . In addition to the in-flight work, there will also be some new analysis tasks that will add additional functionality to the system.

Below is a summary of the key tasks that the candidate would be required to continue:

Analysis:
Requirements management and traceability;
Manage change request process and analysis;
Manage review of functional documentation;
Review and feedback on development of the user interface;
Review technical documentation / technical issues where required;
Help to specify an application to view the user logs that the tool produces
Definition of the reporting solution
Inputs to deployment and training plans;

Test Management:
Run daily internal progress meetings and weekly meetings that include the vendor;
Resolution and escalation of any issues that surface in these meetings. Typically, these are things like coordinating code drops, and test environment issues;
Test planning and estimating;
Manage activities of the UAT team;
Manage progress of UAT testing;
Weekly test reporting;
Manage lifecycle of defects in Jira;
Write and review functional test cases;
Work with the vendor to prioritise defect fixes;
Perform testing where required / where time allows;
