Business Support Analyst

We are looking to recruit 2 Business Systems Support Analysts to join our team based in Birmingham on a 6 mth FTC. We are a nationwide provider of mechanical, refrigeration, electrical and other core building services. Your role will be to support the implementation of the Service Management, Financial and HR system development and best practice across all operating locations.

As part of your role you will be supporting the implementation of system process improvements and the use of business tools. To gain and maintain a thorough working knowledge of all business process systems employed within the company. To support the identification of operator process or
method improvement. To coach/train operator/s to use identified best practice methods. To monitor best practice methods to achieve consistency across all operational locations, i.e. Birmingham, London , Liverpool.

You will also be supporting the training/induction of administrators/operators/engineers in new systems or new methods including the introduction of new software/ hardware/business tools when necessary.

You must be able to identify useful data and complete analytical work in conjunction with Dept; Senior Regional Managers and Directors. Action and manage report compilation and distribution and to develop and use report compilation skills working in conjunction with IT dept.

Candidates must have financial/commercial awareness or understanding to ensure processes under improvement do not detract from financial accounting process but enhance to improve productivity etc, that all analytical reports are meaningful and again lead towards productivity improvements

Candidates must hold a degree, this would ideally suit a highly numerate graduate that holds a degree in Economics, Maths or Physics. You must be an excellent communicator and be able to instruct others in the work required and supervise when necessary.
