C&I Maintenance Technician/Renewable energy/£33k

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Controls & Instrumentation technician to join a renewable energy business based in the worcester area

THE ROLE

You will install, repair and inspect plant machinery to ensure continuous improvement, this will include, routine maintenance, fault diagnostics, calibration and repair of all control related plant equipment to maximise utilization of machinery. You will be involved in the modification of existing equipment to improve system performance, effectiveness and functionality. You will be responsible for safe working at all times to prevent and accidents.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will ideally have a apprenticeship or equivalent in Controls & instrumentation however an electrical/electronics qualification will be considered. You must have proven experience in fault diagnostics on PLC's and gained a strong understanding with instrumentation processes. The ideal candidate will have proven experience from a process related industry e.g fluid, oil, gas etc.
You must have excellent communication skills, ability to work within a team and own initiative, and have the ability to understand and maintain knowledge of current health & safety regulations and procedures.
