Civil Engineering Technician

Civil Engineering Technician required by a market leader in the manufacture and supply of concrete products based in Staffordshire.

Your main responsibility will be to manage the companies bespoke manhole production. You will also be required to Assist the Quality Control Department.

Your role will require a drainage take off from customers drawings, issue of approval drawings and uploading the information to the computer which runs our state of the art manufacturing equipment. Quality assurance checks will be part of the process. The work will require liaison with sites to ensure the process and delivery runs smoothly.

The role is pivotal in the running of process from initial review of drawings through to final casting of the products.

You will have the ability to read Construction drawings this experience will have been obtained via work experience, a work placement through university or obtained during your studies at university, however the ability to read Construction drawings is essential.

You will also ideally have knowledge in;

* Knowledge of drainage design
* Experience in precast concrete
* Ability to use AutoCAD

You will be educated to HND level minimum in Civil Engineering or Building or hold an equivalent level qualification as well as some knowledge of Concrete Technology and good IT skills.
