This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join a commercial insurance brokerage as a Commercial Account Handler.
This role will involve dealing with new business quotations which will include liaising with clients to understand their individual requirements and negotiating on their behalf.
Other accountabilities will include re-brokering and dealing with renewals and therefore good time management and the ability to build strong relationships with clients is essential.
You will also be responsible for credit control, overseeing policy adjustments, liaising daily with commercial clients as well as other general administration.
The successful candidate will be a graduate or hold an equivalent level qualification along with previous experience of working in commercial insurance broking or have worked freelance or within their own brokerage. You will also have a good knowledge of FSA requirements and proven records of training/FSA testing. Experience of personal lines would be desirable however is not essential.
You will also be self-motivated and be able work well under pressure and to tight deadlines and timescales, possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written and have a methodical and process driven approach to work.
Salary: up to £25k (depending on experience)
