Creative Artworker

This is an exciting opportunity for a Creative Artworker to join our client based in Lichfield. Our client is looking for a talented, middleweight Creative Artworker who has an understanding of Online media. The job would have an 80/20 split of print to web needing 100% creativity!

Job Title: Creative Artworker
Location: Lichfield
Salary: 12-20k

The 80% Creative Artworker Role Would Involve:
* Working from scamps and / or generating original ideas.
* Delivering artwork of the highest quality across all forms of print activity.
* Excellent typography and layout skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
* Experience of producing designs that fit to existing brand guidelines.
* Converting print documents in to rich interactive PDFs.
* Photoshop retouching.
* Excellent knowledge of the print process, finishes and technical requirements.

The 20% Web Role Would Involve:
* Design / visuals for websites & HTML emailers.
* HTML emailer generation, testing, sending & reporting.
* Producing web graphics.
* Website maintenance via CMS systems.
* Creation and coding of basic websites / HTML emailers.


The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent level qualification, ideally related to a creative studies. You will have at least 1 years studio experience and be efficient with Adobe Creative Suite 4/5, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver (Flash would be beneficial but not essential). You will have excellent typography and layout skills, interactive PDFs with InDesign and a good understanding of CSS with the ability to code basic websites & HTML Emailers (everything Apple Mac).
You will be enthusiastic, adaptable, hardworking and technically proficient. The ideal candidate will be a team player, problem solver and pro-active.
