Based in Worcester, our client has over 30 years' expertise in integrating Front and Back-Office broker solutions and software; specifically for commercial, personal, niche and composite lines and they are looking for individuals with a 'winning' and 'can do' attitude to drive their business forward.
Role: eCommerce Developer
Salary: £25,000
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire
As an eCommerce Developer you will develop and support e-Commerce enabled Web sites for our client mainly using Java, HTML and Javascript. Furthermore your role will include:
*Developing high quality Web based applications
*Understand Web connectivity.
*Provide innovative ideas and suggestions to the development team.
*Assist members of the e-Commerce development team and liaise with internal & external customers regarding the implementation of web solutions.
*Work to tight deadlines when building and testing new web based software
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level and will need to have extensive knowledge of Java. Furthermore candidates will need knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS. You will benefit from knowledge of COM and Online payment systems such as Worldpay. You will draw upon previous experience of working to tight deadlines whilst using your analytical and design skills to successfully convert requirements into a successful implementation.
