Are you an experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer with a background in the Food or FMCG industry, looking for an exciting new challenge. Working for a leading manufacturer in the Wigan area this is an opportunity for a forward thinking, outgoing experienced Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to cover for a 3 months (could go on longer) period.. We are looking to pay an hourly rate of £20 per hour as a limited rate for working 12 hours days and nights over a continental pattern.

· Have the highest quality standards and a passion for innovation
The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles-
· Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased).
· Experience in planned preventative maintenance and progressive maintenance techniques.
· Ideally from a Food production environment i.e. ovens, x-ray equipment, packaging etc.
· Experience in PLC fault finding (not programming) ideally Mitsubishi and Siemens
· Ideally 16th or 17th Edition Regs
· Self motivated, ambitious engineer looking for progression, able to drive forward plant improvements and improve reliability.
. Has the ability to faultfind and interrogation on PLC Systems including inputs and outputs etc
. Controls/Systems background
The role
· Reports to the Engineering Manager
· Working in a maintenance team of 4 personnel plus Team Leader
· Working on continental 12 hour shift pattern
· Ideally carrying out more proactive planned preventative maintenance, and less reactive maintenance and fire fighting if possible
· PLC fault finding and diagnosis, and supervising mechanically biased engineers during electrical PLC issues.
