A Leading Logistics Company require a driven and motivated Graduate Accounts Assistant to join them in Birmingham. This opportunity will suit recent Accounting and Finance Graduates who are looking to build their career within an Accounts environment with an industry leading company.
Role: Graduate Accounts Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £17,200
As a Graduate Accounts Assistant, you will provide support for International Imports & Exports including analysis and recovery of Duty/VAT from Customers. Alongside this, you will be responsible for:
*Processing invoices from both international and domestic suppliers
*Assisting with reconciliation of Duty Deferment account payments
*Analyse the International supplier invoices for Duty/VAT costs
*Liaison with International Suppliers to ensure resolution of Duty/VAT queries
*Assist with reconciling and payment of supplier invoices
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (Finance, Accounting or similar) and benefit from any previous experience within a similar role. You will be a confident communicator, who is able to effectively converse with suppliers and other departments. You will be naturally organised individual who will significantly benefit from previous knowledge of Duty/VAT analysis. Any experience within a Logistics environment is also desired.
