Graduate Chemist

Our client in the chemical manufacturing sector is currently looking to recruit a Graduate Chemist to join their on-site development laboratory. Based in Leek, Staffordshire, the company specialise in the production of chemical compounds. The role will comprise of research and development with regards to the company's on-going innovation and new process technology.

The successful Graduate Chemist will be responsible for:
*Routine testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
*Analyse and report results to development team.
*Maintenance and calibration of Lab equipment.
*Perform analytical testing relating to R&D.
*Supervise manufacturing of lab-scale batches.
*Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures, Environmental policies and Quality control procedures.

You will be educated to degree level in a Chemistry/Scientific related discipline. You will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and methods of lab analysis.

You will be highly motivated, hard-working and conscientious. You will be committed to high standards and delivering innovative results.
