Graduate Customer Account Engineer

We are looking to recruit a Graduate Customer Account Engineer to come and join our team based in Newcastle under Lyme. We are a leading global provider of wire, cable and wiring systems with 93 production facilities located in 34 countries worldwide. The Wiring Systems Division designs, manufactures and supplies wiring system products for many of the world's leading car and commercial vehicle manufacturers.

Job Title - Graduate Customer Account Engineer
Location - Newcastle under Lyme
Salary - £18 - £20k (dependant on experience)

A vehicle's wiring system acts as both its circulatory and nervous systems - delivering power and signals to provide control and deliver functionality. It is a complex product, designed using sophisticated CAD / 3D modelling software.

Some of our customers include JCB, Cummins, Caterpillar, Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, Bentley Motors, SMR, JCI, Automotive Lighting, Lear, Calsonic and many leading system and component suppliers.

As part of your role you will be working within a product line team, you will be responsible for all aspects of customer interface. Duties include; dealing with customer quotations, preparation of business plans, over viewing new product introduction and the day to day commercial administration / supply chain activities to ensure the efficient / on-time delivery of customer requirements.

Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical /Automotive Engineering or Business Administration Degree with a bias towards Automotive. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Have an interest in new technologies within the Automotive Industry.
