Our client make specialist drop forgings for a variety of mainly UK based industries and are offering this opportunity for a graduate to be mentored by an experienced design engineer.
Job Title: Graduate Customer Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: 18-22k
Our client is offering training in state-of-the-art 3-D modelling using Pro-Engineer software, specifications and performance of metals and estimating / feasibility systems. Additional training will be delivered through appropriate NVQ-accredited external courses.
The successful candidate will also be part of a team continuing the setting up of a new centre of excellence for forgings within our clients company and you will eventually be the primary customer contact for new product enquiries.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level relating to metals, material science and engineering. You will be an ambitious Engineer with a keen interest in design and information technology and you will enjoy hands-on involvement in solving manufacturing problems.
The successful candidate will also possess the versatility to expand into the commercial aspects of new business development as the position becomes more established.
