Looking to recruit a Graduate Economic/Finance Researcher to work in Staffordshire.
Our client currently requires a Graduate with an Economics or related degree to undertake extensive economic research on their behalf and effectively communicate their findings.
You will be tasked with providing a unique economic intelligence gathering, reporting and dissemination service to the business in general.
To establish a good working relationship with economic intelligence staff within these organizations with a view to establishing and ongoing exchange of information for the mutual benefit of both.
To research primary sources of economic intelligence and register on behalf of the business in order to obtain timely and meaningful information.
To develop a robust process for the regular collection, collation, publishing and dissemination of information. To document the process for staff and make use of PC and other forms of storage for data recording.
You will research various sources of economic information. To conduct surveys where necessary to asses the scope of information of most interest to the business community. To advise the senior management team on the most appropriate range of economic intelligence information that the business should best disseminate.
To collate such statistical information and media reports on a regular basis and to prepare period bulletins/journals. To arrange for the distribution of bulletins/journals to the company and to prepare and present results at key events.
Assist the company with other ad-hoc investigative projects as directed for both chamber and member enquiries.
This is a minimum of a 3 month contract with potential to lead into a permanent position. This is an exciting opportunity to make this role you own. Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous, how ever graduates who are extremely driven and motivated will be considered.
