This role will involve preparing advertisements and monitoring the online advertising for the company. You will also assist with writing and compiling press releases for both press and online, providing regular updates on editorial material and liaising with all members of the team to identify areas where social media and networking can be utilised!
Other duties will involve creating company newsletters, monitoring and analysing internet traffic and constantly looking for ways at this can be improved, regularly updating social networking and social media accounts, updating the website with current and relevant content as well as assisting with other new developments and initiatives!
The successful candidate will be a graduate with a degree in either marketing or business studies. You will also have an understanding of the marketing processes and the different types of marketing activities to include knowledge of all aspects of the marketing mix. You will also be competent using Word, Excel and Photoshop. In addition you will be proactive, innovative, with strong attention to detail and good commercial awareness. Any previous commercial experience within marketing either from a placement year or internship would be desirable however is not essential! A passion for social media, social networking and blogging is also a must!
