Taylor are the world's leading manufacturer and designer of 4 wheeled, galvanised steel waste and recycling containers and aesthetic street furniture for waste & recycling.

All our products are manufactured at our 18 Acre Oak Park site near Droitwich, 20 miles Southwest of Birmingham. Employing 154 people we are UKAS accredited to ISO 9001 (2008) and ISO 14001, and a proud Investor in People for over 10 years.

We supply 90% of all UK Local Authorities and the main private sector contractors, operating globally, supplying the waste and recycling containment infrastructure for entire cities and countries.

All our products are designed with culture change through public engagement and communication in mind, so that all around the world we can help to change public behaviour for the better across all cultures, reducing side-waste, scavenging and vermin, or helping people to start recycling.

We represent the UK on the European Standards Committees for EN 840, EN 14803 and EN 1501 and are a member of the Health & Safety Executive's Waste Industry Safety & Health (WISH) forum. Taylor houses one of the worlds few EN 840 testing facilities in its R&D facility allowing us to independently re-certify our products to EN 840 every six months by UKAS accredited Lloyds British.

Key Responsibilities

 

Ø  Organising and managing marketing and promotional campaigns from conception through to completion including evaluating and reporting on their effectiveness.

 

Ø  Plan and carry out marketing activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of Taylor’s product range, in accordance with agreed business plans

 

Ø  Develop formats to chart and report key areas and all key measures monthly for the Company and for the Sales & Marketing Director.

 

 

Marketing communications will be part of the process with written and visual communication being required to advise the company or the market of new changes or features and news. You will be responsible for coordinating the news releases to go into the various existing communication models. (email Marketing/Comms Screens/Website/Intranet/Extranet). During this process you will need to ensure that the company is aware of the latest news/features from each department and to coordinate with relevant teams which topic they would like to promote.

There will be need for general administration and support, such as updating the company Intranet with communication and content.

We are looking for a candidate who has a hands-on and can-do attitude, a candidate who is bright and has excellent relationship building skills.

MS Office with good Excel skills and Power Point Skills
Organisation and planning skills
Good communication skills
Creative nature
Innovative marketing ideas

A candidate with drive, enthusiasm and initiative is a must as this role will be a vehicle to further development, as time progresses you will be expected to learn and develop new skills.
