This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a rapidly expanding company who can offer a unique opportunity to work with bespoke machinery with the automotive and aerospace industries.

Role: Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
Salary: £13,000 - 16,000
Location: Wolverhampton

As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, your role will include:

*Preparing drawings and bills of materials.
*Attending and contributing to review meetings regarding design and contracts.
*Investigate and determine solutions to service and warranty engineering issues.
*Take responsibility of product cost throughout the design process
*Liaising with suppliers, sub-contractors and customers
*Ensure and demonstrate Continuous Improvement in all aspects of product engineering

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a Mechanical Engineering discipline and will benefit from practical engineering experience, ideally within an equipment or machinery design, although this is not a necessity. Candidates are required to have a strong understanding of Solidworks from your education or practical experience and ideally have experience of designing test equipment and mechanical structures, although the later is not essential. You will be customer focussed and relish the prospect of working within an environment that requires you to use your own initiative.
