Role: Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £22,000 - 24,000
As a Trainee Product Compliance Engineer, your role will involve an extensive period of training which will allow you to become an integral part of the technical team. Your duties will include:
*Visiting clients sites
*Managing multiple projects.
Assessing clients machinery and associated documentation.
*Ensuring that clients are sites are in keeping with legal quality obligations (ie. EU machinery directive)
*Offering consultative advice to clients on how to go about achieving such accreditations.
*Compiling Technical documentation.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a Mechanical Engineering discipline and must possess a minimum of a 2.1 classification.
You will significantly benefit from experience within a machine building or machine design environment. Prior knowledge of CE marking and product compliance is beneficial but candidates without experience are also strongly encouraged to apply. Our client is seeking candidates who are willing to train and develop within the role as well as growing their knowledge and expertise within the industry. You will be a clear and confident communicator, with a natural ability to converse with people from all levels.
Full training will be provided for the successful applicant.
The successful candidate will be a driver with their own transport, as travel will be an essential part of the role.
