Graduate Penetration Tester

JUNIOR PENETRATION TESTER

This position requires someone who possesses a good understanding of penetration testing techniques, but who can in a relatively short time gain the necessary skills and maturity to work autonomously.
The successful candidate will be articulate, presentable, ambitious, keen and able to learn quickly.
The position is based in Worcestershire.

The role:
Under the guidance of an experienced penetration tester the successful candidate will work on actual assignments and be given the necessary training to progress to a senior penetration testing consultant in a relatively short time.

Key competencies required:

Use of a variety of network security testing tools and exploits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective action.

A knowledge of both automated and manual penetration techniques.

Be able to explain the output of a penetration test to a non-technical client.

Strong inter-personal and communication skills.

Report-writing skills.

Presentation skills.

Web/Software development skills.

Knowledge of IP networking protocols

Experience required:

Experience with some security testing both automated and manual.

Knowledge of some or all of the following.
