Graduate Procurement Scheduler

Our client is a leading light in the production of mobile holiday homes. Due to continued expansion and development they have identified a need for a Gradate to take on the role of Procurement Scheduler. They are looking for a graduate in Engineering, Manufacturing or Supply Chain to perform scheduling and orders administration activities related to the production and manufacturing processes and to offer general assistance to the Purchasing department. This is ideal for a graduate with previous purchasing experience to develop.

Job Title: Graduate Procurement Scheduler
Salary: £18-£22k
Location: Worcestershire.


Duties of the role include;
* Using the MRP reports to schedule materials in line with production requirements
*Ensuring purchase system records are accurate and maintained.
*The management of supplier/customer relationship internally and externally.
*Operating effectively within a team of working to a continuous improvement culture and be an excellent team player.
*Generating periodic reports to the Purchasing Manager outlining key purchasing issues internally within the supplier base.
*Ensuring communication relating to purchasing is fluent across the business working with other members of the purchasing team providing up to date information on product issues and product flow.
*Working across departmental and business partnership boundaries to develop long term solutions for company requirements.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in an Engineering or Supply Chain related discipline or hold an equivalent level qualification. You will be computer literate and have an understanding of the total orders process and a solid understanding of the principles of MRP. You must also demonstrate personal integrity, judgement, initiative, results orientated and effective communication skills.
