Our client in the automotive sector is looking to recruit a Sales Consultant to join their team in Rugby. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a sales and client services focused environment.
The successful candidate will be working with clients in order to develop the sale of vehicles, finance and after-sales goods/services within the business fleet division. Candidates will be confident in building rapports with clients to identify their needs and requirements and to guide them towards the most appropriate product, as well as arranging sales and after sales processes.
Duties include:
- Identifying potential business clients, prospecting new business and building a database of clients.
- Contacting and liaising with local business users in order to market the company's products and services.
- Presenting and demonstrating range to potential clients.
- Liaising with sales and after-sales department to agree terms of services and set-up of business accounts.
- Weekly reporting on sales activity to the sales manager.
Candidates will be hold a degree or equivalent level qualification. Candidates will also be able to demonstrate previous sales achievements within a B2B environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work towards agreed performance targets. They will develop strong relationships to win new business through planning and organising their own daily selling activity and telephoning sales prospects (previous/existing business users or general enquiries). In addition they will be working with colleagues and other teams across the dealership to provide a seamless service to clients.
