Graduate Tester

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Tester to join a leading software solutions company based in Worcester. Our client has an impressive portfolio of clients from the insurance and financial services industry and is looking for the successful candidate to execute testing on a wide range of general insurance applications to prove accuracy and quality.

Role: Graduate Tester
Salary: £16,000
Location: Worcester

As a Graduate Tester, your role will require you to test developed software against a criteria of specified requirements. This requires a self-motivated and organised individual with exceptional communication skills. Your role will also entail:

* To accurately record and monitor issues raised.
* Create and maintain test documentation.
* Co-operation with Development and Business Analysis teams to resolve faults efficiently.
* Constantly monitoring test progress in line with release dates / plans.
* Review test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards.
* Provide support to customers.
* Use of test tools and utilities.
* Provide test estimates.

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level within a relevant degree subject (Computer Science or similar). You will benefit from previous experience within a similar role and possession of a ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in software testing. You will ideally have experience of Quality Assurance or testing, preferably within an Insurance or broker environment.
