Graduate Trainee Tax Consultant

As a dynamic Business Consultancy this group subsidiary provide specialist advice and guidance on taxation issues. Working on a partnership basis with accountants, IFAs (Independent Financial Advisors) and lawyers offering specialist tax consultancy services to their clients. Some of the specialist services approached by their tax consultants include dealing with Inland Revenue investigations and enquiries and negotiation of settlements.

Applicants for the 2010 graduate intake for this exciting opportunity should have achieved a minimum of a 2.1 degree classification in a suitable field. Ideally your degree would have had some taxation and/or accountancy modules, however, this is not essential as specific tax qualifications will be sat as part of the training contract. Any previous experience in an accountancy or tax based role would be a distinct advantage. Applicants should be enthusiastic learners with excellent skills of communication and a high level of numeracy and general IT skills.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within the various consultancy departments during their training contract. During the duration of the training contract the Graduate Trainee Tax Consultant will be sitting either the ATT or ACA tax examinations to become a Chartered Tax Advisor.
