This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join an embedded software development and electronics design consultancy in Birmingham as a Hardware Engineer. The company successfully deliver embedded design projects for a strong portfolio of clients in the UK, Europe and the US.
The Hardware Engineer will be able to manage both manage hardware design and low level software working on a variety of projects. You will have knowledge of C, C++ and assembler. Working closely with internal and external clients to develop software for specific imbedded hardware.
Responsibilities :
* Schematic design
* Assembler/C/C++ programming of embedded devices eg Microchip PICs / ARM Cortex
* Facilitating the path from requirements to manufacture eg liaising with manufacturers, EMC testing, sourcing components etc
* Customer facing
Applicants will hold a Computer Science degree or equivalent qualification with a strong academic background. An understanding of electronics would be a distinct advantage as would proven customer/client-facing skills.
