Head of HR

Working with the UKs major supermarket brands this food production company are looking for a new Head of HR. The Head of HR will be based in North London with occasional travel to other production sites in the UK.

The Head of HR will be involved in all areas of HR delivery including compliance, performance management, talent acquisition, training and strategic HR policy development. Candidates should have experience of a similarly generalist role reporting to board level. This will include:

Our Head of HR will:
* Develop and deliver the HR Strategy to support the achievement of business goals
* Devise a robust volume recruitment process and engagement strategy to maximise staff retention
* Lead a period of growth
* Develop a strong culture of teamwork, mutual respect and social responsibility

Using your:
* Broad generalist HR skills, developed at a senior management level in a large organisation
* Experience of developing HR strategy and following this through into HR strategy delivery
* Ability to lead people change programme
* Pragmatic and practical attitude in combination with a strong commercial awareness
* Solid interpersonal skills with a customer focussed approach

Candidates should ideally be educated to degree level and will have relevant CIPD qualifications and affiliations. Experience of multi-site HR Management in a food production or food import/export environment is essential.
