Capita are currently searching for a specialist History NQT or QTS for a School in the Birmingham area. The School has recently undertaken a number of changes, most importantly a new Head Teacher. Whilst the school has recently been an average school catering for a variety of students from a variety of backgrounds, the new Head Teacher has put together an action plan to drive the school forward to an Outstanding School. These are very exciting times within the school, the breathe of fresh air has been very well welcomed with a noticeable change within the students behaviour. The Head teacher has created a strong supportive Senior Leadership team. As a result the school has been describes as a pleasant and lovely place to work.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A strong history background with a Secondary specific teaching qualification.
- Experience of delivering KS3 and 4 History and be able to deliver elements of humanities.
- The ability to engage with pupils and "bring history back to life"
