We are currently looking to recruit a HR Advisor to join our team based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. You will be working within the HR function, providing full recruitment services & support some locations within Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire and West London.

Job Title - HR Advisor
Location - Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary - £20-24k dependent upon experience

Working as part of the Workforce Planning Team, you will be responsible for sourcing and delivering staffing plans for all relevant areas from drivers and warehouse, to clerical & operational staff. This is a pressurised and goal-driven role which requires strong decision making, attention to detail and consistency. The Recruiter role also has a Generalist element which will require involvement in Employee Relations to assist the team's Specialists as required and provide support for management. You must be self-motivated, have a strong emphasis on problem solving and an ability to resolve conflict or create solutions.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:
- excellent verbal & written communication skills
- prioritising & planning a demanding workload to strict deadlines
- exemplary organisational & administrative skills
- a good understanding of compliance excellence in relation to DFT hiring requirements
- strong attention to detail & accuracy even under pressure
- able to work on own initiative and be a strong team player
- confidentiality and integrity
- full flexibility - required to work additional or unsocial hours to meet our 24 hour business needs
- clean driving licence - to provide support at all relevant locations at any time to meet demands.
- full working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- willingness to self-develop and maintain your knowledge to stay current with changes to recruitment & selection processes & regulations and key policies & procedures.

Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent level qualification. Training will be provided but direct experience in the full recruitment process from interviewing to referencing is preferred and will be a definite advantage.
