Role: HR Manager
Salary: £15,000 (part-time based on 15 hours a week, Full time equivalent £37,500)
9 Month Contract (Maternity Cover)
Location: Redditch
As a HR Manager your role will be to support and advise heads of departments, managers and team leaders in all areas of HR related issues, and advise on implementation of further HR initiatives. Furthermore, your role will include:
*Advising and assist managers and team leaders on best practice, employment law and the disciplinary and grievance process and assist with any HR queries in order to resolve in line with the Company Policy.
*Advising employees on matters of welfare and personal development
*Representing HR by being in attendance at hearings and deal with third parties such as Employment Tribunals, employee representatives where required
*Preparing all administrative documentation (offer letters, contracts, starter packs)
*Implementing and maintaining the Company's HR policies and procedures and research any changes to employment law, advise and act on updates as appropriate
*Health & Safety (risk assessments, first aid, training, maternity, update records, fire assessments and all elements of H&S)
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant degree discipline. Candidates must be CIPD Qualified and possess strong experience within a similar role and benefit with possessing a Health & Safety certificate. You will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of employment law and general HR policies and procedures, alongside a exhaustive knowledge and understanding of the complexities of issues facing line management through having specifically supported line management. This role is a very independent role and therefore we are seeking a candidate who is an excellent decision maker with the ability to work under remote instruction.
Candidates must be aware that the role is a part-time 9 month contract looking to start immediately.
