IT field Engineer required by a Birmingham based trade retailer. This is an exciting opportunity for an IT professional to join a growing company in a field based role. With trade outlets throughout the UK, the role will involve onsite IT support and installation of new IT services.
Job title: IT Field Engineer
Location: Birmingham (UK travel)
Salary: competitive
Duties of the role include:
*Onsite fault resolution.
*Management of IT Hardware stock in accordance with company procedures.
*Delivery and installation of new IT services to existing branches
*Participation in new store installation projects.
*Training/fault finding documentation for end users.
*Conducting site audits and health checks.
*Ensuring all outstanding, recurring or emerging issues are fed back to IT manager.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in an IT related discipline and will be able to demonstrate previous experience within a Field based support role.
Candidates will demonstrate a knowledge of the following :
*POS equipment
*PC hardware/ network peripherals
Candidates will be willing to work out of hours/and or away from home when necessary.
Candidates will be committed to teamwork, accuracy and success an all areas of their work.
