Overview:
Advanced Diagnostics is an industry leading company designing and selling Transponder Key Programming equipment to clients across the globe. Based in Nuneaton, we are looking to employ a creative but commercially aware person to join our small team to co-ordinate marketing and commercial activities within the company.
Along with an excellent level of communication, there is a heavy emphasis on publication design/creation, client interaction and customer service.
Whilst primarily focused on the marketing and commercial activities, this is a broad role, and will involve co-ordinating some technical based projects and ability to perform technical demonstrations and training.
A willingness to undertake a reasonable level of overseas travel and flexibility with working hours is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provision of regular technical, marketing and commercial literature including:
- Operating manuals, to support software and new products
- Marketing information notes, product brochures & catalogues
- Sales support information
- Point of sale promotional items
- Press information
- Newsletters
• Management and maintenance of website including support for technical forum.
• Co-ordination of trade events and exhibitions including stand duty and product demonstrations.
• Technical support including input into product requirements/specifications and provision of customer training/demonstrations in the UK and overseas
• Instigate, maintain and monitor pricing strategies across the product portfolio to maximise profitability and margins taking into account competitor trends; undertake special event pricing.
• Develop business opportunities through managing existing relationships; identifying and negotiating with new distributors; developing and supporting marketing initiatives to promote product awareness, promotions and campaigns.
• Manage the introduction process for new products including organising effective product launches within agreed timescales, liaison with suppliers/subcontractors and making design decisions to support production modifications
• As a small team everyone is expected to handle customer sales/technical enquires, building and maintaining relationships.
• Provide regular update to customer/distributors via the website, literature etc
• Develop marketing initiatives to support product awareness, promotions and campaigns, ensuring they run smoothly and on budget.

• Excellent organisation skills as well as being creative as your work will involve meeting with clients to discuss products and services, devising marketing ideas, keeping projects on budget and making sure all campaigns run smoothly.

Other Requirements:
• Overseas travel
• Although the working week is 39 hours, the job will require flexibility as weekend work, and an approach of completing what is required.
• A reasonably high level of overseas travel is required.
Qualifications:
• Degree or BTEC HND in a relevant subject, such as Advertising, Marketing, Business Studies and Management or alternatively a professional diploma such as one awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
• Some grounding/previous experience in marketing, perhaps as a marketing assistant.
• Automotive experience is useful but not essential.
