Mechanical Design Engineer to provide concept, scheme and embodiment design of instrumentation mechanics, from initial requirements through to low/medium volume manufacture. The design work to involve balancing potentially conflicting requirements eg. innovation vs. value, quality, reliability, assembly, test and service. This role will be of special interest to those with a background in precision instrumentation.
Notes for Candidates
Ideally this company is looking for someone who can work at a senior level, with a proven track record of designing precision mechanical components and assemblies. In particular, we would like to see examples of where they have use CAD/FEA, tolerance's, geometrical tolerances, FMEA, prototype manufacture & assembly.
