This boutique translation agency based in Birmingham City Centre offer a wide range of translation services to clients of all shapes and sizes in the public and private sector. Starting from humble beginnings they have grown considerably and are now looking for an experienced Office Manager who can create a tightly run, superbly efficient, organised and productive environment.
Job Title: Office Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £17,000-£20,000
Working as the Office Manager you will be reporting to the Managing Director, you will be involved in customer liaison, working hand in hand with project managers, managing supplier relationships and working closely with the Managing Director. You will also be involved in;
*Ensure clients are provided with a first class Customer Service
*Produce cash flow statements, wages and salaries
*Ensuring projects are running efficiently and to schedule
*Report to the Managing Director on team progress
*Liaise with external clients and translators
*Keep up to date with payment of invoices
*Ensuring the Quality Management System is documented with procedures and policies
*Ensuring the office is running efficiently
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or will hold an equivalent level qualification and will have previous management experience within an office environment and will have first class organisation skills and a genuinely flexible attitude. You must have excellent staff leadership skills and demonstrable customer service skills with an authoritative and persuasive telephone manner along with an aptitude for taking responsibility for delivering projects on time and to expected standards. You will have the ability to demonstrate previous experience running a number of projects at any one time along with some experience of book keeping.
It is highly desirable that you are fluent in an additional European language or Arabic.
