Oracle Developer required to work in Central London on a 6 month contract initially.
The Oracle Developer will have Forms and Reports Knowledge and will be responsible for upgrade, support and maintain the client's bespoke systems which is based on an Oracle database and user interface.
Candidates should come to the role with:
* In-depth knowledge of up to Oracle 10g development suite (Forms 10g and Reports 10G with the demonstrable ability to implement web enabled forms and reports within an MS Windows environment
* In-depth knowledge of SQL*Plus and PL/SQL including database packages and triggers, Comprehensive understanding of DML, Ability to use PL/SQL across Oracle tool set including PL/SQL tool kit. Understanding of Dynamic SQL.
* Understanding of database administration skills
* Development knowledge in a UNIX and Windows environment
* Ability to use PL/SQL across Oracle tool set including PL/SQL tool kit
* Know-how of version control and configuration management tool such as PVCS and Team track
* Ability to create functional specifications, design documents and test documents
* Expertise in software development methodologies such as RAD and Waterfall
* Experience of full development lifecycle from requirements analysis through to design, development and support
* Experience of working in structured project management environment
