A PPA cover teacher role has arisen at our client school in Birmingham. They are looking for an inspiring teacher to work throughout both Key Stages 1 and 2. This role would suit an NQT given the amount of support the school are willing to provide.
The school is smaller than the average-sized primary school and there are a large proportion of pupils who are from ethnic minority communities and an above average number speak English as an additional language. The school also has an above average number of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
The majority of the day will be spent teaching Key Stage 2. The school expects the successful candidate to be able to be very flexible and be able to adapt between Key Stages with little notice. For the right candidate, this role could turn into a long term position for September 2012.

The successful candidates will be confident and have a positive approach, as well as having relevant teaching qualifications, the right to work in the UK, 2 professional teaching references from within the last 2 years and a valid CRB.
