The role:-
lYou will provide technically developed solutions to improve reliability, and ensure that all conform to appropriate standards and legislation
lImprove reliability through robust accelerated life testing, performance testing and reporting
lIdentify reliability, performance and safety issues, risk assessments and other appropriate tools, and product corrective action plans
lLiaising with laboratory personnel, and support the sustaining and NPI teams by providing expertise
lKeep abreast of new technology and undertake research into new technologies that could be applied to improve the reliability of company products
lMonitor warranty failure data analysis
lSupport production in efficiency, operational improvements and cost reductions to the factory.
lLiaise closely with production process and shift managers to achieve optimised production targets.
lTo improve manufacturing and packaging equipment reliability and efficiency through implementation of improvements.
lSite electrical duty holder with responsibility for all engineering related legal compliance to the electricity at work regulations.
lClose liaison between engineering and production teams
The suitable candidate:-
lDegree in an Engineering related discipline or equivalent
l1 7th Edition electrical regulations
lDetail knowledge of electricity at work regulations
lCommon process equipment in a food environment.
lElectrical codes of practice/ safety codes/ instrumentation in process and electrical systems
lMechanical codes of practice
lCompressed air, refrigeration, water
lAble to work on own initiative, with good data analysis skills
lResults focused with attention to detail
lGood communicator, analytical with experience in report writing
