Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent, is currently looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and successful sales professional to progress with an established and pro-active company.
This external field sales role focuses on the development of business with new and existing customers, primarily within the building and construction industry. Overall the successful Sales Executive will be responsible for implementing an ambitious growth plan across the UK.
Specific duties include:
*Seeking out all sales opportunities within the building and construction industry.
*Developing an effective sales strategy to secure new and repeat business.
*Continual sales development and planning.
*Undertaking client visits and offering a consultative approach, monitoring any potential client objectives.
*Creating proposals and tender submissions.
*Researching new product and market opportunities.
*Provide relevant information to support forecasting and reporting.
*Support external marketing activity.
*Assist internal/external sales colleagues with sales activities.
Candidates will hold the following skills and experience:
*Degree educated or hold an equivalent level qualification.
*Be able to demonstrate a successful sales track record, where agreed targets have been achieved.
*Have proven business development and client relationship management abilities.
*Effective and consultative communication skills.
*Previous experience within a manufacturing/construction/building environment.
The successful candidate will be ambitious and highly motivated, as well as committed to supporting a team. Candidates will be willing to travel to locations across the UK.
