We are currently recruiting for a SCCM Technical Specialist to be based in Surrey for an initial 6 month contract.
Ideally candidates will hold a current SC security clearance - candidates without clearance must be eligible and willing to undergo this process.
Our client is currently running a project to upgrade their desktop estate from Windows XP to Windows 7 and SCCM is to be used to deploy the new builds and applications.
An SCCM expert is required to carry out analysis of the existing system and to perform remedial work to ensure efficient operation.
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Hands-on experience in a business environment:
oMS System Centre Configuration Manager
oWindows server2003/2008
oActive Directory administration
oGroup Policy configuration and support
oWindows XP and Windows 7
oDesktop operating system builds and deployment
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain and communicate technical issues to non-specialists
*Professional accreditation ( MCSE or MCITP)
* SC Clearance
Desirable:
*Hands-on skills or experience of any of the following:
oApplication packaging, MSI and MST creation
oWise Package Studio or equivalent
o1E pc management software (Nightwatchman, WakeUp)
oDelivering business applications using MS Terminal Services
*ITIL service management
