SEN PE Teacher

This FABULOUS South Birmingham SEN School is looking for a QTS Boys PE Teacher with a genuine desire to work in an SEN setting. You will be responsible for developing a sports and low level movement programme applicable to the children at their appropriate level and for acting as a role model and mentor for additional subjects. You will be working with a small group or even on a one to one level of very mixed and low ability children that require you to understand their behavioural disorders in order to deliver and engage and support their learning, so a patient, supportive approach is essential. You will be required to oversee the LSA's/TA's and involve them in practical support. The school has some wonderful facilities and are looking for someone really special to fill this long-term supply role.

Be an NQT or QTS Boys PE with SEN Experience
Able to demonstrate that you have worked with children in an SEN setting or a PRU
A warm and considerate individual able to make a real contribution at school level with the children
Able to provide support to children with some effect and work closely with their parents
Able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
