This FABULOUS South Birmingham SEN School is looking for a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant with a real affinity for Special Education Needs include EBD, Autism and PMLD. You will be working with a very small group and more frequently on a 1-2-1 basis with children with very specific needs. You must understand their behaviours in order to support their learning, so a patient, supportive and creative approach to inspired learning and care is essential. The school has some wonderful facilities and they are a very forward thinking they look after their staff and provide a safe, secure and supportive environment for the children they support.



This could be just the right time to join the team at this lovely school, initially on supply which could quickly progress to a long-term booking. Capita are looking for exceptional candidates for this role in order to meet out total commitment to our schools and the children they support.

A caring individual with a friendly smile and truly child centric approach
An experienced Level 3, Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant with SEN experience
Able to demonstrate that you have worked with children with EBD
A warm and caring individual able to make a real contribution at school level both in terms of learning and emotional support
Able to provide support to children with varying challenges in a creative and innovative way valuing their contribution
Able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
