Solution Consultant/ Software Developer required by a dynamic, innovative, established technology and software provider based in Birmingham.

Reporting to the Consulting Manager you will be responsible for delivering the implementation of a number of defined integration projects, both customer facing and internal.

You will be strong developer - able to make good design decisions, testing first where appropriate and writing reusable, componentised solutions and paying very close attention to quality at all times. Strong Java, JEE and HTML skills are essential as well as a strong understanding of Object Orientation, and J2EE

You will have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any other mathematical or engineering discipline and have substantial commercial experience in a software development and customer facing role, having Java as your primary development language and JEE as your primary target platform. You will also be very comfortable working in all of Windows, Linux and Solaris environments and regularly switching between all.

You will be self motivated, free thinking and innovative in addition you will have exceptional communication skills as well customer facing skills
