Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Salary: Up to £22,000pa depending upon experience.
Location: Coventry
Working as the Technical Sales Applications Engineer you will join an expanding team, operating in a niche market, providing technical advice on Industrial, Arrestor and Rail products and services. You will work closely with our clients Sales team to ensure our customers receive the best solution for their needs.
Duties Include:
*Assist in the preparation of technical presentations
*Prepare costing and quotations for enquiries.
*Maintain up to date knowledge of customer applications for products.
*Maintain cost and specifications database to component level for products and use this to work with purchasing to drive down costs.
*Maintain selling price data base.
*Assist in product development to achieve and maintain the best most competitive products.
The ideal candidate will:
*Be educated to degree level in a technical subject
*Have customer facing experience gained in a similar industry
*Have knowledge of Solidworks
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
French or German language skills would be highly advantageous
