Trainee Plant & Machinery Valuer

This is a great opportunity for a Trainee Plant & Machinery Valuer to join our client based in Birmingham. Our client is recognised for their astute and efficient business advice, providing strategic solutions as well along with dedicated sales, valuation and auction teams and are looking for an ambitious graduate to join them.


Job Title: Trainee Plant & Machinery Valuer
Salary: £17-£19,000
Location: Birmingham

The successful candidate will be involved in a number of duties including;
* Accompanied site visits to premises throughout the UK.
* Attendance at company premises to assist with scheduling of plant and machinery etc. in accordance with standard procedures.
* Undertaking research/enquiries with manufacturers, suppliers, agents, dealers, etc.
* Working to tight deadlines.
* Assisting with the preparation of marketing programmes and budgets.
* Attendance at auction sales and on site.
* Communicating with clients.
* Assisting with the promotion and marketing of the division.
* Assisting with general administration tasks.
* Checking schedules grammatically and arithmetically.
* Assisting with invoicing.
* Updating and maintenance of various databases.


The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent level qualification ideally in Mechanical Engineering along with strong analytical skills. You will also have good geographical knowledge, good communication and handwriting skills. You will be computer literate and having basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel will be an advantage.
