Trainee Technical Sales Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a food science graduate to join our clients company who are a leading supplier of ingredients company to the food manufacturing sector and who enjoy a strong reputation within this consumer driven market. Our client is based in Staffordshire and with the sales growing in the company they are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join the sales team.

Job title: Technical Sales Manager
Location: Staffordshire
Salary: £20-£25k

Duties of the role include;

* Providing technical solutions to overcome finished recipe performance and processing issues.
* Presenting innovative concepts to customer new product development teams.
* Supporting customer factory trials.
* Providing technical support and product recommendations to the wider sales team.
* Developing a project pipeline.
* Tracking projects and be accountable for their commercial contribution to the business.


The successful candidate be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent level qualification ideally in food science and will be able to demonstrate a high level competence in a food production environment as well as being commercially astute. You will be computer literate and have attention to detail and presentation skills.

You will also have the ability to work under your own initiative, be highly motivated and be prepared to travel within the UK and when necessary within Europe.
