We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainer to join our client, a driving force within insurance broker industry based in Worcestershire. Our client is one of the UK's largest software solutions providers for the broker Insurance industry and they are looking for a Training Consultant with a 'winning' and 'can do' attitude to drive their business forward.

Job Title: Trainer - Insurance Sector
Location: Warndon, Worcestershire
Salary: £22,000 (+ company car + fuel allowance)

As the Trainer you will be expected to deliver appropriate training and consultancy to customers and staff and take part in the planning and implementation of strategic projects directly involving the Training Dept.

Job duties will include:

* Ensuring that the company's standards and procedures are satisfactorily understood and implemented within the Training dept.
* Participating in the annual appraisal process and working to achieve any subsequent agreed objectives.
* Providing ongoing support to line management in identifying personal training requirements.
* Providing in-house and on site training for customers and staff on core and bespoke products as defined within the current price-book.
* Delivering Training and Consultancy price-book offering for customers, as defined within the prevailing price-book.
* Participating in strategic projects and initiatives relevant to the training department.
* Assisting with other departments' strategic projects and initiatives, including system demonstrations and meetings with prospective customers as well as participation in Product Clinics and Roadshow-type events.
* Working to maintain departmental administration and documentation to agreed standards.
* Escalating internal/ external customer issues through the correct line management structure or to the relevant department.
* Working to and providing appropriate recommendations.
* Maintaining an acceptable standard as regards software product knowledge i.e. the subject of any delivered training and consultancy.
* Identify and document sales opportunities and ensure the sales department is fully aware of these in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will hold GCSEs in both English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above, and any progression towards any of the CII insurance qualifications will be an advantage. The ideal candidate will also be expected to demonstrate any relevant experience or knowledge gained from an insurance company or broker, or any equivalent experience within a software house (preferably one specialising in insurance software).

We are also seeking individuals who can demonstrate excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills, which will compliment exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work to a high level, under pressure, often outside of core working hours is a must; as is a high level of competency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. An understanding TRIPOS/Windows will also be advantageous.
