An independent courier service in Birmingham has benefited from Grad Central’s recruitment expertise after taking on a Wolverhampton University graduate into its customers services team.

Trax Express Systems, which is part of the APC network and has over 100 years management experience in the delivery industry, identified the need for fresh graduate talent to help continue to grow its business and approached Grad Central for support. The company took advantage of Grad Central’s expertise and unique fee free recruitment service, which is fully funded by Advantage West Midlands, and has recently employed graduate Louise Gardner as a customer services advisor.

Nick Pearson, sales and marketing manager at Trax Express Systems, explained how Grad Central’s service was catered to his requirements: “The process was very easy, once we were introduced to Grad Central it was just a matter of the names coming forward and looking at CVs, so we had the interview and took it on from there.

“Of course the benefits of having a graduate like Louise are that you have a high calibre of person who has great customer service skills, which gives our customers the best service possible in the long run.”
